Train:

St Anton has a railway station where many international trains take a stop. Trains in Austria and Switzerland are convenient and of high quality. But check a timetable before you book your flight. Especially for flights arriving late in the evening.
A great online timetable for German, austrian and swiss trains can be found here.

Car:

Of course driving in Germany is fun, since on large parts of the german autobahn is still no speed limit. But be aware that winter tyres are necessary and in winter time, it can snow is common.  In Austria it is necessary to buy a tax disc. But this is not expensive. Around 10 euro’s. If you drive from Switzerland a Swiss tax disc is necessary. This one is more expensive (but valid for a whole year) and costs around 32 euro’s. When you drive to st Anton, you will end up choosing between the 14 km long Arlberg tunnel (costs around 8 euro) or taking the Arlberg pass (beautiful scenery). If you have time and the weather is good, take the Arlberg pass. If the weather is bad, or if you are in a hurry, take the tunnel. At the end of the tunnel you are there.
